Easy to follow and fits great

The instructions were very easy to follow for someone making a jacket for the first time and it came out looking very neat and professional! I will add however that I have quite a bit of home-sewing experience with other garments so I am definitely not a beginner. One thing I would note is even with a medium-weight fabric there is a lot of bulking around the neckline, as the seam here will have a lot of layers, and even with cutting down the seam allowances in layers it is still very bulky. Because of this make sure your fabric can handle a lot of heat as there is some intense pressing involved to fold down the collar. I made a matching set using the “Lais” skirt pattern, and both shapes come together perfectly.
