Gorgeous Piece!

I made this vest for my daughter - granted she looks great in everything but this turned out bearutifully! Fits like a glove (did some careful fitting on my dress model as she doesn't live in the same city i do so in person fittings were not possible. I am a pretty experienced sewist and I was really careful to follow all the steps including the all the basting (ugh yes!) but this paid off in the results. The only steps that i felt were confusing and not described well were the welt pockets - which obviously need to be perfect right in the front. They turned out looking good, but it was not an easy part of the process. Next time will be easier I am sure. I altered the front sillouette a little to round the bottom "points" to go with a skirt that suits the curve better. I will definitely make this again... and in the meantime I will watch the welt pocket videos a few times to understand the process better. Thanks for a great pattern!
