Great Pattern

I really love how this skirt turned out! I feel like a Queen when I wear this skirt. Really love the detailed instructions and the little "handbook" oh how to adjust the patten to fit your size and what to do when things aren't fitting the way they are supposed to. My only "critic" about this pattern is that seam allowance should be indicated in the instructions. I am an advanced sewer so the notches are a good indication of how big to make each seam. However, some beginners would not know this information and would need some extra help as there is no video tutorial to go with this design. Also, I think my skirt would have been better if I had fused all of my main pieces prior to sewing and Iadded more structure in the waist. I am I made my skirt with 100% thin wool and the lining with 100% visose. So far, the wool keeps wrinkling so I find my self ironing it excessively to keep it looking good. The waistband folding in on itself despite the waistband and skirt fitting me really well. If i were to make this again, I would fuse my main fabric and I would also put either a waist stay or horsehair to help maintain the structural integrity of the waistband. Aside from that AMAZING design! I got so many compliments already.
