Ariana blazer
Ariana is a semi-fitted lined blazer with an accentuated waist. The front and back are fitted with princess seams and a center back seam. The center front edges are rounded at the bottom. The short set-in sleeves have four pleats at the top of the sleeve cap and a tulle sleeve head. The blazer has a round neckline and no collar. Ariana closes with buttons and button loops at the center front and is above-hip length.
Model Anastasia: Height 175 cm (5’8”), Bust 83 cm (33 1/8”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8”), Hips 90 cm (34 5/8”). Eva is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 1,5 days (12 hours).
To sew this blazer, choose medium-weight, pliable, soft, non-stretch or low-stretch, structured suiting fabrics made of natural, artificial, blended, or synthetic fibers.
The following fabrics are recommended: velvet, jacquard, taffeta, and twill.
For the lining, choose materials made of blended or synthetic fibers.
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics or loosely woven heavy suiting fabrics such as tweed.
The blazer in the photo is made of taffeta. The fabric is medium weight, pliable, soft, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 100% natural silk. Fabric weight is 150 g/m².
The lining fiber content is 100% viscose. Fabric weight is 100 g/m².

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.
3. Lightweight interfacing, knit or woven, 140 cm (55”) wide, for all sizes and heights — 0.75 m (3/4 yd).
4. Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 1.5 cm (5/8") wide — 1.55 m (1 3/4 yd).
5. Additional fabric (mesh or tulle) for sleeve heads, 150 cm (59”) wide, for all sizes and heights — 15 cm (6").
6. Six button blanks (plus one or two spare ones), 1.1 cm (3/8") in diameter
