Briony blazer
Briony is a semi-fitted, fully lined blazer with an accentuated waist. There are side panels at the front and back and in-seam pockets at the sides. The blazer is fitted with front and back princess seams and a center back seam. The shoulder line is extended. The long set-in sleeves are made up of two pieces. The blazer features a grown-on stand collar and a double-breasted snap closure. Briony is below-hip length.
Model Maria: Height 175 cm (5’7”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8”), Hips 90 cm (35”). Alia is wearing size 34 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 2 day (16 hours).
To sew this blazer, choose suiting fabrics with the following properties: medium weight, structured, non-stretch or low-stretch.
The fiber content can include natural fibers (wool), artificial fibers (viscose), blended fibers (wool + silk, wool + polyester, etc.), and synthetic fibers (polyester).
The following fabrics are recommended: suiting fabrics, coating fabrics.
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics, soft, lightweight (dress-weight wool), or suiting fabrics with a loose weave.
For the lining, use lining fabrics made of artificial fibers (viscose), blended fibers (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetic fibers (polyester, polyester + elastane).
The blazer in the photo is made of wool coating fabric. The fabric is medium weight, soft, non-stretch, and structured. The fiber content is 100% wool. The fabric weight is 470 g/m².
The lining is made of 55% viscose + 45% polyester. The fabric weight is 100 g/m².
