Myrtle blazer
Myrtle is a semi-fitted, fully lined blazer with an accentuated waist. The back is fitted with a center seam and princess seams. The front is fitted with bust darts that transition into welt pockets with flaps. The center front edges are rounded. The shoulder line is extended. The long, set-in, two-piece sleeves are very loose-fitting at the shoulder and tapered towards the wrist. The blazer has a grown-on stand collar and closes with sew-on snaps. Myrtle is above-hip length.
Model Sophia: Height 175 cm (5’9”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 64 cm (25 1/4”), Hips 92 cm (36 1/4”). Sophia is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 2 days (16 hours).
To sew this blazer, choose medium-weight, structured, non-stretch or low-stretch suiting and coating fabrics made of natural, artificial, blended, or synthetic fibers.
The following fabrics are recommended: wool suiting, boucle, jacquard, denim, and coating fabrics.
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy, soft, lightweight (dress-weight wool), or loosely woven suiting fabrics.
For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial, blended, or synthetic fibers.
The blazer in the photo is made of wool coating fabric. The fabric is medium weight, structured, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 100% wool. The fabric weight is 470 g/m².
The lining is made of 100% viscose. The fabric weight is 130 g/m².
