Philantha jacket
Philantha is a loose-fitting, fully lined jacket with a straight cut. The front and back feature applied yokes. The top edges of the front and back are gathered. The jacket closes with a center front button placket. There are welt pockets with sewn-on ends on the front. The jacket features a stand collar that closes with a button tab. The long, set-in, two-piece sleeves are gathered at the cap and have gathers and two pleats at the bottom. The sleeves feature slits in the elbow seam and are finished with cuffs that close with buttons and buttonholes. There is decorative topstitching along the yokes, cuffs, collar, tab, pockets, welts, plackets, sleeve elbow seams, and slits. Philantha is hip-length.
Model Sophia: Height 175 cm (5’9”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 64 cm (25 1/4”), Hips 92 cm (36 1/4”). Sophia is wearing size 36 in height 3.

To sew this blazer, choose medium weight, soft, non-stretch or low-stretch, opaque suiting fabrics. The fiber content can include natural fibers (wool, cotton, silk), blended fibers (wool + polyester, cotton + polyester, etc.), and synthetic fibers (polyester);
The following fabrics are recommended: suiting fabrics, eco-suede, eco-leather.
For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of natural fibers (silk), artificial fibers (viscose), synthetic fibers (polyester), or blended fibers (viscose + polyester, silk + viscose, viscose + elastane).
The jacket in the photo is made of eco-suede. The fabric is medium weight, non-stretch, and soft. The fiber content is 100% polyester. The fabric weight is 240 g/m².
The lining is made of blended fibers: 55% viscose + 45% polyester. The fabric weight is 100 g/m².
