Solange is a single-breasted, semi-fitted blazer with an accentuated waist. The shaping on the front and back is achieved with princess seams starting at the shoulder seam and at the armscye. The princess seams on the front end with a flap pocket. The blazer has a center back seam and a collar with collar stand. Solange has semi-fitted, two-piece, long sleeves. The shaping of the shoulders is achieved with shoulder pads. The blazer is fully lined and has a button and buttonhole closure. Solange is below-hip length.

Model Xenia: Bust 86 cm (33 3/4"), Waist 63 cm (24 3/4"), Hips 92 cm (36 1/4"), Height 171 cm (5'7"). Xenia is wearing size 36 in height 2.

Model Yana: Bust 108 cm (42 1/2"), Waist 90 cm (35 3/8"), Hips 128 cm (50 3/8"), Height 174 cm (5'8"). Yana is wearing size 48 in height 3.

Approximate sewing time: 3 days (25 hours).

To sew this blazer, choose suiting fabrics with the following properties:

- medium-weight, pliable, structured, non-stretch or low-stretch

- the fabric content can include natural (wool), artificial (viscose), blends (wool + silk, wool + polyester, etc.), and synthetic fibers (polyester, polyester + elastane)

- the following fabrics are recommended: suiting wool, gabardine.

Attention! We do not recommend very stretchy knit materials (jersey fabric), soft lightweight fabrics (dress-weight wool), and loosely woven suiting fabrics.

For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetic fibers (polyester, polyester + elastane).

The blazer in the photo is made of suiting wool. This fabric is medium-weight, pliable, soft, structured, and has little stretch. The fiber content is a blend of wool and elastane.

The lining is 100% viscose.

5. Stitch-reinforced fusible bias stay tape, 1.5 cm (5/8") wide: 4 m (4 3/8 yd).

6. Six buttons, 2–2.2 cm (3/4–7/8") in diameter.
