Model Arina: Height 124 (48 7/8"), Chest 55 (21 5/8"), Waist 50 (19 5/8"), Hips 62 (24 3/8"). Arina is wearing size 28 in height 116 (45.5"). The pattern has been altered to correspond to the height of the model.

To sew this garment, choose knit fabrics with the following properties:

- soft, breathable, stretchy or with very little stretch, medium-weight;

- the fabric content can include natural (wool, cotton) or artificial (viscose) fibers, blends (cotton + polyester, cotton + elastane, etc.), and synthetic fibers (polyester, polyester + elastane);

- the following fabrics are recommended: jersey, light-weight French terry, Ponte de Roma, interlock knits.

Attention! We do not recommend lightweight sheer fabrics (chiffon, organza, non-stretch lace, any dry non-stretch fabrics).

The garment in the photo is made of jersey fabric. This fabric is medium-weight, soft, and has a good amount of stretch. The fiber content is a blend of cotton and elastane. The cuffs and neckband are made of ribbing.

2. Additional fabric (ribbing), 120cm (47”) wide - 0.1m (4”) for all sizes in all heights.

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.

3. Two strips of knit fusible interfacing 1cm (3/8”) wide to interface the shoulder seam allowances of the front piece. The length of strips is 10–20cm (4–8”) depending on height and size (measure the length using the pattern piece). The grainline of the interfacing should be parallel to the longer edge of the strip (along the interfacing selvedge). You can use shop-bought fusible interfacing tape instead.

4. Matching thread – 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine and 4 spools for the overlocker).

- sewing machine for attaching cuffs and neckband

- overlocker for construction and for finishing raw edges. It may be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2–3 mm, stitch length 2.5 mm)

- coverstitch or coverlock machine for hemming. If you don’t have a coverstitch machine, you can hem the garment using a twin needle on a sewing machine with a zigzag function.

IMPORTANT! When sewing knit fabrics, it’s recommended to use specialty needles for knits (such as ballpoint, STRETCH, SUPER STRETCH, JERSEY, etc.). These needles have a rounded tip which allows the needle to pass in between the loops instead of piercing the threads.
