Sue is a semi-fitted trapeze dress with straps. The front of the dress is gathered at the top and finished with a binding. The top edge of the back is finished with a binding that is threaded with ties. The center back seam has a slit at the top. The bottom of the dress features a gathered ruffle. The armscye is decorated with a gathered flounce. Sue is above-knee length.
Model Katya: Height 105 cm (41.5"), Chest 55 cm (21 5/8"), Waist 52 cm (20 1/2”), Hips 60 cm (23 5/8"). Katya is wearing size 28 in height 104 cm (41").

To sew this dress, choose dress-weight fabrics with the following properties:
- lightweight, soft, low-stretch or non-stretch
- the fiber content can include natural fibers (silk, cotton), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (cotton + silk, cotton + viscose, silk + viscose, etc.), and synthetics (polyester)
- the following fabrics are recommended: cotton, dense batiste, sateen, poplin
Attention! We do not recommend heavyweight and structured fabrics.

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.

3. Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape, 1 cm (3/8") wide, for all sizes in all heights — 0.8 m (7/8 yd)
4. Matching thread — 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker)
- sewing machine for construction
- overlocker for finishing raw edges. It can be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2–3 mm, stitch length 2.5 mm)
- stitch-in-the-ditch foot for the sewing machine (optional)
