Teddy wrap blanket
Teddy is a fully lined wrap blanket featuring a hood with decorative ears, a crotch gusset, as well as foot coverings that are made of separate top and sole pieces. Teddy has a wrap front with a Velcro fastening.
Approximate sewing time: 1 day (8 hours).
To sew this garment, choose fabrics with the following properties:
- medium-weight, soft, non- or low-stretch
- the fiber content can include natural fibers (wool, cotton, linen), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (wool + cotton, cotton + viscose, etc.), and synthetics (polyester)
- the following fabrics are recommended: faux fur, velour.
For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of natural fibers such as jersey knits.
For insulation, we recommend alpolux or polyester batting with a 50–100 g/m2 weight.
The wrap blanket in the photo is made of faux fur. The fabric is medium-weight, pliable, and soft. The fiber content is 100% polyester. The fabric weight is 255 g/m2. The pile height is 5 mm (just under 1/4").
The lining is 100% cotton and has a 140 g/m2 weight.
The insulation is 100% polyester batting and has a 100 g/m2 weight.
