Wendy dress
Wendy is a dress pattern for children with a close-fitting bodice, a voluminous skirt, and an empire waist. The round neckline is finished with a bias binding. The dress fastens with four buttons and buttonholes placed on the placket of the back bodice. Wendy has long, two-piece, raglan bishop sleeves. There is a channel at the bottom edge of the sleeves, with elastic threaded through it. The wide and straight skirt has gathers at the waist seam. The dress has an asymmetrical hemline — with the front shorter than the back. Wendy is below-knee length.
Approximate sewing time: 1 day (8 hours).
