Ariella dress
Ariella is a loose-fitting A-line dress. The front and back of the dress feature applied yokes. The center sections of the front and back feature gathered top edges trimmed with lace. The dress closes with buttons and button loops at the center front. The center front edges are trimmed with lace. The dress has a stand collar, a tie belt, as well as long and loose-fitting shirt sleeves that are gathered at the sleeve cap and bottom. The sleeves are finished with narrow cuffs that are trimmed with lace and close with buttons and button loops. The garment hem is also trimmed with lace. Ariella is above-knee length.
Model Liana: Height 174 cm (5’8”), Bust 82 cm (32 1/4”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8”), Hips 87 cm (34 1/4”). Liana is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 2 days (16 hours).
To sew this dress, choose dress-weight fabrics with the following properties: lightweight, soft, non-stretch, opaque or semi-sheer. The fiber content can include natural fibers, artificial fibers, blends, or synthetics.
The following fabrics are recommended: crinkle batiste, cotton, chiffon, gauze.
For the lining, choose lightweight, non-stretch fabrics such as batiste.
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics.
The dress in the photo is made of cotton. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 100% cotton. The fabric weight is 160 g/m2.
