Carmelia is a loose-fitting tiered trapeze dress. The front and back feature yokes with ties. There is a neckline slit in the center front seam. The front, back, sleeves, and skirt tiers are gathered along the top edge. The waist casing is threaded with a tie. The long and voluminous sleeves have a hem casing threaded with a tie. The round neckline is gathered with a tie. The dress is available in above-knee and floor-length options.
Model Sofia: Height 172 cm (5’8”), Bust 84 cm (33 1/8”), Waist 64 cm (25 1/4”), Hips 90 cm (35 3/8”). Sofia is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Model Alina: Height 172 cm (5’8”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 65 cm (25 5/8”), Hips 93 cm (36 5/8”). Alina is wearing size 36 in height 3.

To sew this dress, choose dress-weight fabrics with the following properties:
- lightweight, pliable, soft, with good drape, non- or low-stretch
- the fiber content can include natural fibers (silk, cotton), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (cotton + viscose, etc.), and synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane)
- the following fabrics are recommended: dress-weight silk, chiffon, crepe chiffon, batiste, challis
Attention! We do not recommend heavyweight fabrics without drape.
We recommend using the same fabric for the lining as for the main garment.
The dress in the photo is made of dress-weight polyester. The fabric is pliable, soft, and low-stretch. The fabric weight is 55–150 g/m2.
