Jemma dress
Jemma is a semi-fitted dress with an accentuated waist. The back and front features princess seams that start at the shoulder seams. The neckline is deep and V-shaped. There are welt pockets on the front. The dress features a double-breasted closure that fastens with one button and sew-on snaps. Jemma is above-ankle length.
Model Anastasia: Height 175 cm (5’9”), Bust 83 cm (32 5/8”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8”), Hips 90 cm (35 3/8”). Anastasia is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 2 days (16 hours).
To sew this dress, choose dress-weight fabrics with the following properties: medium weight, pliable, soft, non-stretch or low-stretch, opaque. The fiber content can include natural fibers, artificial fibers, blends, or synthetics.
The following fabrics are recommended: dress-weight viscose, ramie, linen, cotton.
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics and lightweight sheer fabrics (chiffon, organza, stretch lace).
The dress in the photo is made of linen. The fabric is medium weight, pliable, soft, and non-stretch. The fiber content is 100% linen. The fabric weight is 220 g/m2.

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.
2. Lightweight interfacing, knit or woven, 140 cm (55") wide, 30 g/m2 — 1.5 m (1 5/8 yd)
3. Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 1.5 cm (5/8”) wide — 4.5 m (4 7/8 yd)
4. Three sew-on snaps, 0.7–1 cm (1/4–3/8") in diameter
5. One button, 2 cm (3/4") in diameter
6. Matching thread — 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker)
