Lexi Dress
Lexi is a dress with an accentuated waist, a low V-shaped halter neckline, and an open back. The close-fitting bodice features princess seams. The self-lined upper front bodice has darts and ties. The voluminous skirt features princess seams, with the side panels gathered at the top. There are pockets in the side seams. The dress fastens with an invisible zipper in the center back seam. Lexi is above-ankle length.
Model Kristina: Height 173 cm (5’8”), Bust 85 cm (33 1/2”), Waist 64 cm (25 1/4”), Hips 90 cm (35 3/8”). Kristina is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 1.5 days (12 hours).
To sew this dress, choose dress-weight fabrics with the following properties: medium weight, soft, non-stretch or low-stretch. The fiber content can include natural fibers, artificial fibers, blends, or synthetics.
The following fabrics are recommended: linen, ramie, dress-weight denim, cotton.
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics and lightweight sheer fabrics (chiffon, organza, stretch lace).
The dress in the photo is made of linen. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and without stretch. The fiber content is 100% linen. The fabric weight is 150 g/m2.

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.
2. Lightweight interfacing, knit or woven, 140 cm (55”) wide, for all sizes in all heights — 10 cm (3 7/8")
3. Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 1 cm (3/8") wide — 1.6 m (1 3/4 yd)
4. Stitched straight-grain fusible stay tape, 1.5 cm (5/8") wide — 1.2 m (1 1/4 yd)
5. One invisible zipper, 40 cm (15 3/4") long, for all sizes in all heights
6. One sew-on hook-and-eye closure
7. Matching thread — 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker)

- overlocker for finishing raw edges. This may be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2–3 mm, stitch length 2.5 mm)
