Lyria is a close-fitting dress with a one-shoulder asymmetric neckline. The silhouette is achieved through a bias cut design and a center back seam. The shoulder seam is gathered on the front and has a long, bias-cut, single-layer scarf attached to it. Lyria is ankle-length.

Model Yekaterina: Height 172 cm (5'8"), Bust 84 cm (33 1/8”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8”), Hips 88 cm (34 5/8”). Yekaterina is wearing size 36 in height 3.

Approximate sewing time — 1 day (8 hours).

To sew this dress, choose lightweight to medium-weight, soft, non-stretch or low-stretch, opaque or semi-sheer dress-weight fabrics made of natural fibers, artificial fibers, blends, or synthetics.

The following fabrics are recommended: satin, crepe de chine, natural or artificial silk.

Fabrics with a blended fiber content are preferable, as they are less prone to wrinkling, generally more resistant to wear and tear, and more durable. 

Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics.

The dress in the photos is made of natural silk. The fabric is medium weight, soft, non-stretch. The fiber content is 100% silk. The fabric weight is 130 g/m2.

2. Matching thread — 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker)

- sewing machine for construction

- stitch-in-the-ditch foot for the sewing machine (optional)

- overlocker for finishing raw edges. This may be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on a regular sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2–3 mm, stitch length 2.5 mm)
