Missandei is a semi-fitted dress with an accentuated waist due to the waist seam. The bodice waist is pleated at the front and gathered at the back. There is a back yoke with an overlapped slit underneath, dropped shoulders, and long shirt sleeves pleated at the bottom. The stand collar transitions into a scarf. The bias-cut skirt of the dress is gathered at the top and has design lines. Missandei closes with an invisible zipper in the center back seam of the skirt and is above-ankle length.

Model Anastasia: Height 175 cm (5’8”), Bust 83 cm (33 1/8”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8”), Hips 90 cm (34 5/8”). Eva is wearing size 36 in height 3.

Approximate sewing time — 2 days (16 hours).

To sew this dress, choose medium-weight, pliable, soft, non-stretch or low-stretch opaque dress fabrics made of natural, artificial, blended, or synthetic fibers.
The following fabrics are recommended: satin, dress viscose, crepe de chine, silk, artificial silk, chiffon.

Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics or heavy suiting fabrics.              

The dress in the photo is made of crepe in two colors. The fabric is medium weight, pliable, soft, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 98% polyester + 2% elastane. Fabric weight is 215 g/m².

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.

2. Stitched straight-grain fusible stay tape, 1.5 cm (5/8") wide — 53 cm (21").
3. One invisible zipper, 30 cm (11 3/4") long, for all sizes and heights.
4. Clear elastic, 1 cm (3/8") wide — 73–113 cm (28 3/4–44 1/2"), depending on the size. The exact elastic length is specified in the pattern.
5. One button, 0.5 cm (3/16") in diameter.
6. Matching thread for the main fabric — 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker).
7. Matching thread for the contrasting fabric — 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker).
