Odelia is a close-fitting dress with an underbust seam and a deep round neckline. The front bodice is gathered at the bottom and features applied plackets with a faux lacing detail. The dress is shaped with front and back waist darts. It closes with an invisible zipper in the center back seam. The set-in sleeves are long, flared toward the bottom, and gathered at the cap. Odelia is midi length.

Model Alina: Height 172 cm (5'8"), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 65 cm (25 5/8”), Hips 93 cm (36 5/8”). Alina is wearing size 36 in height 3.

Approximate sewing time – 1 day (8 hours).

To sew this dress, choose blouse and dress-weight fabrics with the following properties:

- medium-weight, pliable, soft, opaque, non-stretch or low-stretch

- the fiber content can include natural fibers (silk, cotton), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (silk + polyester, cotton + viscose, etc.), and synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane)

- the following fabrics are recommended: dress-weight viscose, crepe, heavyweight silk.

Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics or lightweight sheer fabrics (chiffon, organza, stretch lace).

The dress in the photos is made of crepe. The fabric is medium-weight, pliable, soft, with a little stretch. The fiber content is a blend of cotton and elastane. The fabric weight is 155 g/m2.

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.

2. Lightweight interfacing, knit or woven, 140 cm (55") wide, 50 g/m2, for all sizes and heights – 0.3 m (3/8 yd).

3. Bias-cut fusible stay tape, 1 cm (3/8") wide – 3 m (3 1/4 yd).

4. One invisible zipper, 60 cm (23 5/8") long, for all sizes and heights.

5. Six grommets, 0.3–0.5 cm (1/8–1/4") in diameter.

6. Matching thread – 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker).

- overlocker for finishing raw edges. This may be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2–3 mm, stitch length 2.5 mm)

- stitch-in-the-ditch foot for the sewing machine (optional)

- invisible zipper foot for the sewing machine

- one-sided foot for the sewing machine

- press tool with a set of molds for installing grommets

- loop turner.
