Rachel is a lingerie-inspired, close-fitting dress with adjustable spaghetti straps. The front is fitted with bust darts transferred to the side seams, as well as with waist darts. The back is fitted with waist darts. There is a slit on the right side of the front. The top edge of the back and the front armscye edges are finished with bias binding transitioning into adjustable spaghetti straps. The slit, top, and bottom edges of the front as well as the bottom edge of the back are finished with scalloped lace. The dress closes with an invisible zipper in the center back seam. Rachel is above-knee length.

Model Fernanda: Height 173 cm (5’8”), Bust 81 cm (31 7/8”), Waist 58 cm (22 7/8”), Hips 88 cm (34 5/8”). Fernanda is wearing size 36 in height 3.

Approximate sewing time — 1.5 days (12 hours).

To sew this dress, choose soft, non-stretch or low-stretch, medium weight dress-weight fabrics made of natural, artificial, blended, and synthetic fibers.
The following fabrics are recommended: satin, natural or artificial silk, and sateen.
As an additional fabric, we recommend lace fabric or embroidered non-stretch mesh, either transparent or matching the main fabric.

Important! We do not recommend using stretchy fabrics!

The dress in the photo is made of natural satin. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 97% silk, 3% elastane. The fabric weight is 230 g/m².
The additional fabric is embroidered mesh. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and non-stretch.

IMPORTANT! The amount of lace trim required depends on the fabric repeat, the type of embroidery (double-sided or single-sided), and the desired result. The table shows the amount of the lace used in this garment.

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric and lace trim, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.

4. Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 1.5 cm (5/8") wide — 80 cm (31 1/2")

5. Two strap rings, 1 cm (3/8") in diameter

6. Two strap slide adjusters, 1 cm (3/8") wide

7. One hook-and-eye closure

8. Matching thread — 4 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 3 spools for the overlocker)
