Samira is a close-fitting slip dress. The silhouette is achieved through a bias cut design and a center back seam. The front is shaped with bust darts. The dress features adjustable straps and diagonal design lines with flounces. Samira has a free-hanging lining and is below-ankle length. 

Model Yekaterina: Height 173 cm (5’8”), Bust 84 cm (33 1/8”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8”), Hips 91 cm (35 7/8”). Yekaterina is wearing size 36 in height 3.

Approximate sewing time — 2 days (16 hours).

To sew this dress, choose lightweight to medium-weight, soft, non-stretch or low-stretch, opaque or semi-sheer dress-weight fabrics made of natural, artificial, synthetic fibers, or blends.

The following fabrics are recommended: dress-weight viscose, crepe de chine, chiffon, natural or artificial silk.

Fabrics with a blended fiber content are preferable, as they are less prone to wrinkling, generally more resistant to wear and tear, and more durable.

The lining fabric should have the same properties as the main fabric. If you can, use the same fabric for the outer layer and lining, as even a slight difference in fabric properties can cause a distortion of the garment shape.

Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics.

The dress in the photos is made of chiffon. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 100% polyester. The fabric weight is 130 g/m2.

The lining is made of the main fabric.
