Sigourney dress
Sigourney is a close-fitting dress with separate bust cups and an open back. The dress is fitted with front and back waist darts and features a center back seam. The bust cups are lined and shaped with underwires. The neckline is V-shaped. The front features an exposed separating zipper and a slit. Sigourney is midi length.
Model Alina: Height 172 cm (5’8”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 65 cm (25 5/8”), Hips 93 cm (36 5/8”). Alina is wearing size 36 in height 3.

To sew this dress, choose dress-weight fabrics with the following properties:
- medium weight, pliable, soft, medium stretch
- the fiber content can include natural fibers (cotton), blends (cotton + polyester), and synthetics (polyester)
- the following fabrics are recommended: gabardine, denim, fine wale corduroy
Attention! The chosen fabric must contain elastane.
For the bust cup lining, choose fabrics made of natural fibers (cotton) or blends (cotton + viscose).
The dress in the photo is made of denim. The fabric is medium weight, pliable, soft, and stretchy. The fiber content is a blend of cotton, polyester, and elastane. The fabric weight is 285 g/m2.
The bust cup lining is made of poplin. The fiber content is 100% cotton. The fabric weight is 110 g/m2.
