Sybilla is a close-fitting dress. The round neckline is finished with a neckband made from the main fabric. At the bottom, the front has a wrap design and closes with a tie in the left side seam. The set-in sleeves are long and close-fitting. Sybilla is below-knee length.

Model Alia: Height 171 cm (5’6”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 63 cm (24 3/4”), Hips 90 cm (35 33/8”). Alia is wearing size 36 in height 3.

To sew this dress, choose knit fabric with the following properties:
- medium weight, soft, stretchy.
The fiber content can include natural fibers (cotton, wool), artificial fibers (viscose), blended fibers (cotton + polyester, cotton + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetic fibers (polyester + elastane).
The following fabrics are recommended: single jersey, knit fabrics, sweater knits.
Attention! We recommend using only stretchy fabrics with a stretch factor of 2.0–2.5 for this dress.
You can determine the stretch factor of your fabric yourself. Mark 10 cm (4") along the crosswise grain of the fabric, lay a ruler next to the marked section, and stretch the fabric. Divide the measurement you get by 10.
The dress in the photo is made of thin sweater knit. The fiber content is natural fibers is 95% wool + 5% elastane. The fabric weight is 180 g/m². The stretch factor is 2.

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.

2. Matching thread — 4 spools for the overlocker / 3 spools for the coverstitch machine.

- sewing machine for construction
- overlocker for finishing raw edges. This may be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2–3 mm, stitch length 2.5 mm)
- coverstitch or coverlock machine for finishing the garment hem. If you don’t have a coverstitch machine, it can be replaced with a twin needle on any regular sewing machine that can do a zigzag stitch
IMPORTANT! We recommend using specialty needles when working with knit fabrics (for example, STRETCH, SUPER STRETCH, JERSEY, etc.). These are ballpoint needles, so they part the threads of the fabric you are stitching without piercing them.
