Ygritte dress
Ygritte is a close-fitting dress with an accentuated waist. The bust darts have been transferred into the princess seams. The back features princess seams and an open back design. The pleated side panels add extra volume to the skirt. The dress has a turn-down, notched collar and a center front button and buttonhole fastening. Ygritte is above-knee length.
Model Nyasha: Height 172 cm (5'8"), Bust 80 cm (31 1/2"), Waist 63 cm (24 3/4"), Hips 92 cm (36 1/4"). Nyasha is wearing size 36 in height 3.

To sew this dress, choose dress-weight fabrics with the following properties: medium weight, pliable, soft, non-stretch or low-stretch, opaque. The fiber content can include natural fibers, artificial fibers, blends, or synthetics.
Recommended fabrics: dress-weight viscose, nettle, linen, cotton
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics and lightweight sheer fabrics (chiffon, organza, stretch lace).
The dress in the photos is made of linen. The fabric is medium weight, pliable, soft, with a little stretch. The fiber content is 100% linen. The fabric weight is 220 g/m2.

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.
2. Lightweight interfacing, knit or woven, 140 cm (55”) wide, for all sizes in all heights — 1 m (1 1/8 yd)
3. Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 1 cm (3/8") wide — 1.25 m (1 3/8 yd)
4. Five buttons, 1–1.2 cm (3/8–1/2") in diameter
5. Matching thread — 4 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 3 spools for the overlocker)

- overlocker for finishing raw edges. This may be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2–3 mm, stitch length 2.5 mm)
