Keely is an unlined bralette with a vertical dart on the bust cups. The grown-on band has no side seams and is reinforced with side boning for delicate support. The top edge at the back is finished with strap elastic. All other edges are finished with picot-edge band elastic. Keely has adjustable straps made of bra strap elastic and a hook-and-eye closure.

Model Lina: Height 176 cm (5’9”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Underbust 75 cm (29 1/2”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8”), Hips 90 cm (35 3/8”). Lina is wearing size 75B.

Approximate sewing time — 1 day (8 hours).

To sew this bralette, choose knit fabrics with the following properties: 

− soft, stretchy (1.2–1.5 stretch factor), medium-weight 

− the following fabrics are recommended: lingerie biflex, microfiber jersey, jersey knits, stretch mesh.

Attention! We recommend using only stretchy fabrics for this bralette.

You can determine the stretch factor of the fabric yourself. Mark 10 cm (4") along the crosswise grain of the fabric, lay a ruler next to the marked section, and stretch the fabric. Divide the measurement you get by 10.

The bralette in the photo is made of lingerie microfiber. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and stretchy. The fiber content is 80% nylon and 20% spandex. The fabric weight is 190 g/m2.

9. Matching thread — 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker)

− overlocker for construction and finishing raw edges. This may be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2–3 mm, stitch length 2.5 mm)

− one-sided foot for the sewing machine

− large-eye needle or latch hook

− tailor's corset ham or bust ham

Important! We recommend using specialty needles when working with knit fabrics and elastic (for example, STRETCH, SUPER STRETCH, JERSEY, etc.). When sewing, a ball-shaped needle point pushes the knit loops apart without piercing the threads.
