Ottavia is a close-fitting bodysuit with a waist seam and short plunge (type 18) underwires. The bust cups are scalloped along the top edge and feature vertical seams. The band features side seams and side boning. The front of the band is lined with corset mesh. The edges of the bodysuit are finished with fold-over elastic and picot-edge band elastic. The adjustable straps are made of bra strap elastic. The leg opening edges feature adjustable garter straps with clips. The gusset is lined with cotton jersey. The bodysuit has a hook and eye closure at the back of the band, waist, and gusset.

Model Lina: Height 176 cm (5’9”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8”), Hips 90 cm (35 3/8”), Underbust 75 cm (29 1/2”). Lina is wearing size 75B in height 3–4.

Approximate sewing time — 1.5 days (12 hours).

To sew this bodysuit, choose knit and lace fabrics with the following properties: 

- soft, stretchy (1.2–1.5 stretch factor), medium weight 

- the following fabrics are recommended: stretch mesh, microfiber jersey

- the following fabrics are recommended (the fabric should have a scalloped edge): lace, allover lace fabrics, embroidered mesh, guipure lace

For the band lining, we recommend using corset mesh.

For the gusset lining, we recommend using cotton jersey.

You can determine the stretch factor of the fabric yourself. Mark 10 cm (4") along the crosswise grain of the fabric, lay a ruler next to the marked section and stretch the fabric. Divide the measurement you get by 10.

The bodysuit in the photo is made of soft stretch mesh and stretch lace. The fiber content of the stretch mesh is 93% polyamide and 7% elastane. The fabric weight is 80 g/m2. The fiber content of the stretch lace is 95% nylon and 5% spandex. The fabric weight is 90 g/m2.

The band lining is made of non-stretch corset mesh. The fiber content is 100% polyamide. The fabric weight is 45 g/m2.

The gusset lining is made of cotton jersey. The fabric is soft, medium weight, and stretchy. The fiber content is 100% cotton. The fabric weight is 180 g/m2.
