Farrah Hoodie
Farrah is a straight-cut, loose-fitting hoodie. It features a stand collar that transitions into a lined, semi-fitted hood with a center seam. The hoodie has a dropped shoulder line and long, loose-fitting, shirt-style sleeves finished with cuffs. The shoulder seam and overarm seam are trimmed with piping. The hem is finished with a drawstring casing with an adjustable elastic cord secured by stoppers at the side seams. The hoodie is below-waist length.
Model Ekaterina: Height 173 cm (5’8”), Bust 84 cm (33 1/8”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8), Hips 91 cm (35 7/8”). Ekaterina is wearing size XS in height 3.

To sew this hoodie, choose soft, non-stretch or low-stretch, medium-weight knit fabrics made of natural fibers, artificial fibers, blends, or synthetics.
Recommended fabrics: French terry, sweatshirt fleece, fleece.
As an additional fabric 1 (cuffs), choose rib knits.
As an additional fabric 2 (hood lining), choose jersey knits or interlock knits.
IMPORTANT! We do not recommend using lightweight fabrics.
The garment in the photos is made of thick French terry. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and low stretch. The fiber content is 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The fabric weight is 340 g/m2.
The cuffs are made of a rib knit fabric. The fabric is heavyweight and medium stretch. The fiber content is 95% cotton and 5% elastane. The fabric weight is 380 g/m2.
The hood lining is made of jersey. The fabric is soft and low stretch. The fiber content is 95% cotton and 5% elastane. The fabric weight is 210 g/m2.

7. Four rectangles cut from lightweight interfacing, each measuring 3.5×2.5 cm (1 3/8×1").
8. Two double-hole stoppers for elastic cord.
9. Matching thread – 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker / 3 spools for the coverstitch machine).

- overlocker for construction and finishing raw edges. It can be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2–3 mm, stitch length 2.5 mm).
- coverstitch or coverlock machine for finishing the garment hem. It can be replaced with a twin needle on a regular sewing machine that can do a zigzag stitch.
- large-eye needle or latch hook.
IMPORTANT! We recommend using specialty needles when working with knit fabrics (for example, STRETCH, SUPER STRETCH, JERSEY, etc.). These are ballpoint needles, so they part the threads of the fabric you are stitching rather than piercing them.
