Iman is a semi-fitted jumpsuit with an accentuated waist. It features a waist seam and a wrap-style front bodice. The back bodice features shoulder darts. The jumpsuit has a low V-neckline and elastic at the waist. The long set-in sleeves are semi-fitted at the top and have a great flare at the bottom. The hems of the sleeves are gathered and finished with binding. Iman is below-ankle length.
The jumpsuit is designed in lined and unlined versions.
The unlined jumpsuit has pockets in the side seams.
Model Sofia: Height 172 cm (5’8”), Bust 84 cm (33 1/8”), Waist 64 cm (25 1/4”), Hips 90 cm (35 3/8”). Sofia is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Model Irina: Height 169 cm (5’6”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 66 cm (26”), Hips 94 cm (37”). Irina is wearing size 38 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 1.5 days (12 hours).
To sew the lined jumpsuit, choose dress-weight fabrics with the following properties:
fluid, soft, low-stretch
the fiber content can include artificial fibers (viscose) and synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane)
the following fabrics are recommended: sequin fabric with a knit, mesh or tulle backing
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics and lightweight sheer fabrics (chiffon, organza, stretch lace).
For the lining, choose knit fabrics made of artificial fibers (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).
Important! The main and lining fabrics should have the same stretch properties.
The jumpsuit in the photo is made of the sequin fabric with a knit backing. The fabric is medium weight, fluid, soft and low-stretch. The fiber content is 100% polyester.
The lining is made of the knit mesh fabric. The fiber content is 100% polyester.
To sew the unlined jumpsuit, choose dress-weight fabrics with the following properties:
medium weight, fluid, soft, non-stretch, medium-stretch or low-stretch, opaque
the fiber content can include natural fibers (silk), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (silk + polyester, silk + viscose, etc.), and synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane)
the following fabrics are recommended: satin, crepe, silk, knit velvet, silk velvet
