James pants
James is a pair of semi-fitted, straight pants gathered at the hems with wide elastic. The elastic is secured with two lines of topstitching. The pants feature slash pockets at the front and mid-thigh gusseted cargo pockets with flaps at the sides. There are decorative tabs made out of twill tape at the center of the pocket flaps. The front leg has knee tucks along the inseams and side seams. There is a faux fly in the center front seam. The applied elasticated waistband has a drawstring casing with twill tape threaded through it. The waistline is slightly lowered. The pants are ankle-length.
Model Danil: Chest 100, Waist 84, Hips 105, Height 184. Danil is wearing size 44 in height 2 (178-184).

To sew these pants, choose knit fabrics or suiting fabrics with the following properties:
- soft, breathable, stretchy or slightly stretchy, medium to heavyweight;
- the fiber content can include natural fibers (wool, cotton, linen), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (wool + polyester, cotton + polyester, cotton + elastane, etc.) and synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane);
- the following fabrics are recommended: thick French terry, sweatshirt fleece, ponte di roma, heavyweight cotton, gabardine, denim, corduroy.

5. Matching thread - 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker).

- overlocker for finishing raw edges. This can be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2-3mm, stitch length 2.5mm);
- buttonhole foot for the sewing machine;

- bodkin / elastic threader (can be replaced with a safety pin).
