Carpe jacket
Carpe is a semi-fitted, fully lined jacket with a straight silhouette. The front is made up of the top, center, and side pieces, while the back includes the top and bottom parts. The front features inseam pockets in the princess seams. The stand collar is decorated with binding. The jacket fastens with a separating zipper at the center front. The long raglan sleeves are hacked into the front and back yokes attached to other sleeve pieces with extra seams. Below the elbow, there is a decorative sleeve insert. The sleeves are finished with grown-on elastic cuffs. The front princess seams, shoulder seams, and yoke seams that transition into extra sleeve seams feature piping and topstitching. The grown-on elastic waistband and cuffs are decorated with three rows of topstitching. The jacket is below-waist length.
Model Daria: Height 176 cm (5’9”), Bust 84 cm (33 1/8”), Waist 63 cm (24 3/4”), Hips 91 cm (35 7/8”). Daria is wearing size XS in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 2.5 days (20 hours).
To sew this jacket, choose medium-weight, non-stretch or low-stretch fabrics made of natural fibers, artificial fibers, blends, or synthetics.
The following fabrics are recommended: outerwear fabrics, dewspo, taslan, membrane fabrics.
Attention! We do not recommend using stretchy knit fabrics.
For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial fibers (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).
The jacket in the photos is made of outerwear fabric. The fabric is medium weight and has very little stretch. The fiber content is 100% polyester. The fabric weight is 280 g/m2.
The lining fabric is mesh lining, 100% polyester. The fabric weight is 115 g/m2.
