Gwendoline is a fully lined loose-fitting coat with a straight silhouette. The stand collar has a free-hanging part that closes with sew-on snaps. The coat features drop shoulders and long, loose-fitting, one-piece shirt sleeves. There are pockets in the side seams. The coat closes with an off-center snap closure. Gwendoline is above-ankle length.

To sew this coat, choose medium weight, soft, non-stretch or low-stretch coating fabrics made of natural, artificial, blended, or synthetic fibers.
The following fabrics are recommended: wool, alpaca, cashmere, boucle.
Choose solid colors or melange fabrics, with short to medium pile, or without pile.
For the lining, use lining fabrics made of artificial, blended, or synthetic fibers.
The coat in the photo is made of wool coating fabric. The fabric has a medium pile. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 100% wool. The fabric weight is 470 g/m².
The lining is made of 46% viscose + 54% polyester. The fabric weight is 100 g/m².
