Harriet coat
Harriet is a loose-fitting, single-breasted, fully lined coat with a straight cut, drop shoulders, and no collar. The coat features long, loose-fitting, one-piece shirt sleeves. There are pockets in the side seams and a vent in the center back seam. The coat closes with sew-on snaps at the center front. The detachable tie belt is secured with belt loops at the side seams. Harriet is above-ankle length.
Model Aliya: Height 171 cm (5’7”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 63 cm (24 3/4”), Hips 90 cm (35 3/8”). Aliya is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 2 days (16 hours).
To sew this coat, choose coating fabrics with the following properties: medium weight, soft, non-stretch or with very little stretch. The fiber content can include natural fibers, artificial fibers, blends, or synthetics.
The following fabrics are recommended: wool, alpaca, cashmere, bouclé.
Choose plain-colored or mélange fabrics, with short or medium pile or without pile.
Attention! We do not recommend heavyweight, dense, structured fabrics.
For the lining, we recommend lining fabrics made of artificial fibers, synthetic fibers, or blends.
The coat in the photo is made of wool coating with medium pile. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 100% wool. The fabric weight is 470 g/m².
The fiber content of the lining is a blend of viscose (45%) and polyester (55%). The fabric weight is 100 g/m².
