Meliora jacket
Meliora is a semi-fitted, fully lined jacket with a straight cut and a detachable belt. The front and back are fitted with princess seams. The jacket has a shawl collar, an extended shoulder line, and semi-fitted, two-piece, semi-raglan sleeves with a decorative design line. The sleeves are finished with cuffs at the bottom. The jacket closes with a button and bound buttonhole at the center front. All seams feature decorative topstitching. There are topstitched belt loops on the front and back. Meliora is above-hip length.
Model Anna: Height 170 cm (5’6”), Bust 85 cm (33 1/2”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8”), Hips 89 cm (35”). Alia is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 3 days (24 hours).
To sew this jacket, choose fabrics with the following properties:
- medium weight, soft, non-stretch or low-stretch, opaque.
The fiber content can include natural fibers (cotton), blended fibers (cotton + polyester, cotton + viscose, etc.), and synthetic fibers (polyester, polyester + polyurethane).
The following fabrics are recommended: faux leather , faux suede, heavyweight denim, wool coating.
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics or thin sheer fabrics.
For the lining, use fabrics made of artificial fibers (viscose), blended fibers (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetic fibers (polyester, polyester + elastane).
The jacket in the photo is made of real leather. The material is medium weight, soft, and low-stretch. The leather thickness is 1 mm.
The lining is made of blended fibers: 45% viscose + 55% polyester. The fabric weight is 100 g/m².
