Mhaegen jacket
Mhaegen is a fully lined, loose-fitting, insulated jacket with an O-shaped silhouette. The front features welt pockets with sewn-in ends. The shoulder line is dropped. The jacket has wide wing lapels and no collar. The front facings and the back neck facing are made of faux fur. The sleeves are raglan at the front and shirt style at the back. The jacket fastens with button loops and buttons. The garment hem and sleeve hems have casings with elastic cord threaded through them. The jacket features decorative topstitching throughout. Mhaegen is above-the-hip length.
Model Julia: Height 175 cm (5’9”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 64 cm (25 1/4”), Hips 92 cm (36 1/84”). Julia is wearing size XS in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 3 days (24 hours).
To sew this jacket, choose heavyweightor medium weight, non-stretch or low-stretch, hygroscopic, water-repellent, wind-resistant outerwear and raincoat fabrics made of natural fibers (cotton), artificial fibers (viscose), blended fibers (cotton + polyester, viscose + polyester, etc.), or synthetic fibers (polyester, polyester + elastane).
The following fabrics are recommended: outerwear fabrics, raincoat fabrics, dewspo, taslan, taffeta, oxford, and membrane fabrics.
For the lining, use lining fabrics made of artificial fibers (viscose), blended fibers (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetic fibers (polyester, polyester + elastane).
As additional fabric for the front facings and back neck facing, we recommend faux fur with knit or woven backing. Pile height: 20–35 mm (3/4−1 3/8”).
For insulation, we recommend Alpolux, IsoSoft, or synthetic padding. Fabric weight: 100–150 g/m².
The jacket in the photo is made of outerwear fabric. The fabric is medium weight and low-stretch. The fiber content is 100% polyester. The fabric weight is 125 g/m².
The lining is made of 100% viscose. The fabric weight is 280 g/m².
The faux fur with knit backing is made of 100% polyester. The fabric weight is 1200 g/m².
The insulation is Alpolux with a fabric weight of 100 g/m².
