Model Varvara: Height 174 cm (5’8”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 64 cm (25 1/4”), Hips 92 cm (36 1/4”). Varvara is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time – 3 days (24 hours).
To sew this coat, choose coating fabrics with the following properties:
- medium-weight, pliable, soft
- the fiber content can include natural fibers (wool, cashmere, alpaca, mohair) or blends (wool + cashmere + polyester, wool + alpaca + viscose, wool + mohair +polyamide)
- the following fabrics are recommended: wool, alpaca, cashmere, mohair.
Attention! We do not recommend thick, heavyweight, structured fabrics. We also do not recommend choosing printed fabrics (e.g., plaid) since it will significantly increase fabric requirements and complicate the sewing process due to pattern matching.
For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial fibers (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).
The coat in the photos is made of a double-faced medium-pile coating fabric. The sewing techniques shown in the instructions are the same as for a regular single-sided fabric.
The fiber content is 100% wool. The fabric weight is 540 g/m2.
The lining is 100% viscose (100 g/m2).
