Trinity coat
Trinity is a fully lined semi-fitted coat with an accentuated waist. The shoulder line is extended. The coat is fitted with princess seams at the front and back. The front features a separate bottom part between the center front and mid back princess seams that forms a wide pocket. The coat has a grown-on stand collar and a double-breasted sew-on snap closure. The long set-in sleeves are semi-fitted and made up of two pieces. All the seams feature decorative topstitching. Trinity is below-knee length.
Model Sofia: Height 172 cm (5’8”), Bust 84 cm (33 1/8”), Waist 64 cm (25 1/4”), Hips 90 cm (35 3/8”). Sofia is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 3.5 days (28 hours).
To sew this coat, choose fabrics with the following properties:
- medium weight, low-stretch or non-stretch
- the fiber content can include polyurethane, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with a woven or knit backing
- the following fabrics are recommended: faux leather
Attention! We do not recommend thin and soft faux leather.
For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial fibers (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).
The coat in the photo is made of faux leather. The fabric is medium weight, low-stretch, and has a knit backing. The fiber content is a blend of polyester and polyurethane. The fabric weight is 345 g/m2.
The lining is 100% viscose. The fabric weight is 100 g/m2.
The weight of the main knit interfacing is 70 g/m2. The weight of the additional one-way stretch interfacing is 50 g/m2.
