Verona is a loose-fitting coat with a straight cut and no closure. It features a grown-on hood and front patch pockets. The front bust darts are transferred to the neckline. The coat has drop-shoulder, shirt-style, one-piece sleeves. It is unlined and is designed for double-faced fabrics. The removable tie belt is secured with belt loops at the side seams. Verona is mid-hip length.

Model Alina: Height 172 cm (5’8”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 65 cm (25 5/8”), Hips 93 cm (36 5/8”). Alina is wearing size 36 in height 3.

Approximate sewing time – 3 days (24 hours).

The coat is designed for double-faced fabrics only. Choose medium-weight, soft, non-stretch coating fabrics made from natural fibers or blends.

Recommended fabrics: double-faced wool coating, boiled wool, melton wool, cashmere. 

The coat in the photos is made of double-faced wool coating. The fabric is medium weight, soft, without stretch. The fiber content is 100% wool. The fabric weight is 450 g/m2.

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.

2. Lightweight interfacing, knit or woven, 140 cm (55") wide, for all sizes and heights – 1.3 m (1 3/8 yd).

3. Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 1.5 cm (5/8") wide, for all sizes and heights – 6.6 m (7 1/4 yd).

4. Matching thread – 1 spool.
