Kirat trousers
Kirat is a pair of loose-fitting, straight-cut trousers. The front features soft pleats that transition into grown-on belt loops at the waist. The back is shaped with waist darts. There are front slash pockets and a single back welt pocket on the right side. The back pocket closes with a button and inner button loop. The waistband has topstitched belt loops and fastens with sew-on hooks and bars. The upper edge of the waistband sits slightly below the natural waistline. The trousers have a fly front zipper closure and are floor-length.

To sew these trousers, choose suiting fabrics with the following properties: medium-weight, soft, breathable, non-stretch or low-stretch, opaque.
The fiber content can include natural fibers (wool, silk, cotton, linen), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (wool + silk, wool + polyester, cotton + viscose, etc.), and synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).
The following fabrics are recommended: wool suiting, gabardine, polyviscose.
We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics and lightweight sheer fabrics (chiffon, organza, stretch lace).
For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial fibers (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).
The trousers in the photo are made of suiting fabric. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 40% cotton and 60% viscose. The fabric weight is 220 g/m2.
The fiber content of the lining is a blend of viscose (45%) and polyester (55%). The fabric weight is 50 g/m2.
