Kristen trousers
Kristen is a pair of loose-fitting, straight-cut trousers. The back is shaped with waist darts. The front features reverse waistline pleats opening toward the side seams. The trousers have front slash pockets and a contrasting reversed waistband. They close with a fly front zipper and waistband hooks and bars. The trousers are floor length.
Model Sofia: Height 172 cm (5'8"), Bust 84 cm (33 1/8”), Waist 64 cm (25 1/4”), Hips 90 cm (35 3/8”). Sofia is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time – 1.5 days (12 hours).
To sew these trousers, choose suiting fabrics with the following properties:
- medium-weight, soft, low-stretch
- the fiber content can include natural fibers (wool, cotton), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (wool + polyester, cotton + viscose, etc.), and synthetics (polyester).
The following fabrics are recommended: wool suiting, gabardine.
Attention! We do not recommend using fabrics with elastane.
For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial fibers (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).
As an additional material for the waistband lining, you can choose fabrics made of natural fibers (cotton), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (cotton + viscose, etc.), or synthetics (polyester + elastane). We recommend using cotton.
The trousers in the photos are made of suiting. The fiber content is 56% polyester, 24% artificial cotton, and 20% wool. The fabric weight is 250 g/m2. The fabric is medium-weight, soft, and low-stretch.
The lining fabric is 45% viscose and 55% polyester. The weight of the lining fabric is 100 g/m2. The additional material is 100% cotton (100 g/m2).

- one-sided foot for the sewing machine.
