Leighton pants
Leighton is a pair of close-fitting flared pants. The front features slash pockets and a watch pocket on the right. The front has shaped yokes and design lines at the knee level, with the bottom edge of the top front leg being free-hanging. The back has a yoke and design lines behind the knees. The applied waistband features decorative topstitching and topstitched belt loops. The pants have a fly front zipper closure. The waistband fastens with two stud buttons and buttonholes. The pants are decorated with double topstitching along the pocket and yoke seams, as well as along the design lines. Leighton is floor length.
Model Varvara: Height 174 cm (5’8”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 64 cm (25 1/4”), Hips 92 cm (36 1/4”). Varvara is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 2 days (16 hours).
To sew these pants, choose fabrics with the following properties:
- medium weight, opaque, non-stretch or with very little stretch
- the fiber content can include natural fibers (cotton) and blends (cotton + viscose, etc.)
- the following fabrics are recommended: denim without elastane
Attention! We do not recommend lightweight fabrics.
For the pocket lining, we recommend using cotton or poplin.
The garment in the photo is made of denim. The fabric is medium weight and non-stretch. The fiber content is 100% cotton. The fabric weight is 346 g/m2.
The pocket lining is 100% cotton.

- stitch-in-the-ditch foot for the sewing machine (optional)
- press tool with a set of molds for installing stud buttons and rivets
