Medina trousers
Medina is a pair of semi-fitted trousers with a straight silhouette. The right front leg features an asymmetrical pleat that is secured to the left part of the waistband with a button. The back legs are shaped with waist darts. There are pockets in the side seams. The trousers have a fly front zipper closure and an applied waistband that closes with a button and buttonhole. The upper edge of the waistband sits 3 cm (1 1/8") below the natural waistline. The trousers are floor-length.
Model Alia: Height 171 cm (5’6”), Bust 86 cm (33 7/8”), Waist 63 cm (24 3/4”), Hips 90 cm (35 33/8”). Alia is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 1 day (8 hours).
To sew these trousers, choose medium-weight, soft, non-stretch or low-stretch suiting fabrics.
The fiber content can include natural, artificial, blended, and synthetic fibers.
The following fabrics are recommended: wool suiting, linen, twill.
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics or lightweight sheer fabrics (chiffon, organza, stretch lace).
For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial, blended, or synthetic fibers.
The trousers in the photo are made of suiting fabric. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 100% wool. The fabric weight is 220 g/m².
The lining is made of 45% viscose + 55% polyester. The fabric weight is 100 g/m².

2. Lining fabric, 140 cm (55") wide, with a directional print, for all sizes and heights — 0.4 m (15 3/4”).
IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.
3. Lightweight interfacing, knit or woven, 140 cm (55") wide, for all sizes and heights — 20 cm (8").
4. Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 1.5 cm (5/8") wide — 1.55 m (1 3/4 yd).
5. One zipper, 20 cm (7 7/8") long, for all sizes and heights.
6. Two buttons, 2 cm (3/4") in diameter (one may be decorative).
7. Matching thread — 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker).
