Aemma is a semi-fitted blouse with an accentuated waist and a shaped hem. The front and back are fitted with princess seams, and the front princess seams incorporate diagonal design lines. The blouse has a turn-down shirt collar with a separate collar stand. The long set-in sleeves feature pleats and a slit at the bottom finished with a sleeve placket closing with a button and buttonhole, and wide cuffs closing with buttons and buttonholes. The blouse has a grown-on center front placket with a concealed button and buttonhole closure. There is topstitching along the collar, collar stand, plackets, cuffs, and princess seams. Aemma is below-hip length.

Model Isabel: Height 170 cm (5′7″), Bust 85 cm (33 1/2”), Waist 64 cm (25 1/4”), Hips 92 cm (36 1/4”). Isabel is wearing size 36 in height 3.

To sew this blouse, choose medium-weight, pliable, non-stretch or low-stretch, opaque shirting fabrics made of natural, artificial, blended, or synthetic fibers.

The following fabrics are recommended: cotton, poplin, dress-weight denim, and shirting fabric.

Attention!We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics or thin and sheer fabrics (chiffon, organza, stretch lace).

The blouse in the photo is made of shirting cotton. The fabric is medium-weight, pliable, soft, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 97% cotton + 3% elastane. The fabric weight is 140 g/m².
