Bojia top
Bojia is a close-fitting, self-lined top with an asymmetrical waist seam below the natural waistline. The front has a stand collar that closes with hooks and eyes. The back is open. The bottom part of the top is gathered at the side seams. The hemline is shaped and asymmetrical. Bojia is below-hip length.
Model Diana: Height 172 cm (5′6″), Bust 84 cm (33 1/8”), Waist 61 cm (24”), Hips 89 cm (35”). Diana is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time – 1 day (8 hours).
To sew this top, choose sweater knit fabrics (1.2–1.5 stretch factor) that are pliable, soft, medium-weight, made of natural, artificial, blended, and synthetic fibers.
The following fabrics are recommended: viscose, knits.
You can determine the stretch factor of your fabric yourself. Mark 10 cm (4") along the crosswise grain of the fabric, lay a ruler next to the marked section, and stretch the fabric. Divide the measurement you get by 10.
The top in the photo is made of soft, pliable knit fabric. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and stretchy. The fiber content is 50% acetate + 28% nylon + 18% polyester. The fabric weight is 260 g/m². The stretch factor is 1.5.

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.
2. Clear elastic, 7 mm (1/4") wide — 0.9–1.2 m (1–1 1/3 yd).
3. Three hook-and-eye closures.
4. Matching thread — 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker).
