Gillian blouse
Gillian is a close-fitting blouse with an empire silhouette. The waist seam is right under the bust, and the trapeze-shaped peplum is gathered and is longer at the center than the sides. The front, back, straps, and top of the sleeve are lined. The draped front is a wrap style and the back is gathered along the center. Gillian fastens with an invisible zipper in the center back seam. The long, set-in sleeves have a seam above the elbow with pleats and gathers at the cap and the bottom of the puff piece, and a close-fitting bottom portion of the sleeve. Gillian is below-the-hip length.

To sew this blouse, choose woven fabrics with the following properties:
- Medium weight, fluid, non-stretch or with very little stretch, opaque;
- The fiber content can include natural fibers (silk), artificial (viscose), blends (cotton + silk, silk + polyester, cotton + viscose, etc.) and synthetic (polyester, polyester + elastane);
- The following fabrics are recommended: cupro, velvet, artificial silk, crepe, atlas, modal.
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knits and lightweight sheer fabrics (chiffon, organza, stretch lace).
For the lining, we recommend lining fabrics from artificial fibers (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), and synthetic (polyester, polyester + elastane).
