To sew this T-shirt, choose knit fabrics with the following properties:
- medium or heavyweight, non-stretch or low-stretch, structured
- the fabric content can include natural fibers (cotton), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (cotton + polyester, cotton + elastane, viscose + polyester, etc.), and synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane)
- the following fabrics are recommended: lightweight sweatshirting, French terry, jersey
Attention! We do not recommend lightweight fabrics.
As an additional fabric for the front neckband, we recommend choosing ribbing.

The front neckband is made of ribbing. The fabric is heavyweight, soft, and medium-stretch. The fiber content is a blend of cotton (95%) and elastane (5%). The fabric weight is 450 g/m2.

3. Bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 1.5 cm (5/8”) wide, for all sizes in all heights — 0.4 m (3/8 yd)
4. Matching thread — 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker)
- sewing machine for construction
- overlocker for construction and finishing raw edges. It can be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2–3 mm, stitch length 2.5 mm)
Important! We recommend using specialty needles when working with knit fabrics (for example, STRETCH, SUPER STRETCH, JERSEY, etc.). These are ballpoint needles, so they part the threads of the fabric you are stitching rather than piercing them.
