Maryana is a semi-fitted blouse with an accentuated waist, a shawl collar, and a waist seam. The front is fitted with princess seams. The back is fitted with waist darts. The set-in sleeves are short and feature two inverted pleats at the top of the sleeve cap and four inverted pleats at the sleeve hem. Below the waist seam, there is a two-tier shaped peplum. The blouse closes with buttons and buttonholes at the center front. Maryana is above-hip length.

Model Anna: Height 172 cm (5′6″), Bust 88 cm (34 5/8”), Waist 62 cm (24”), Hips 91 cm (35 7/8”). Anna is wearing size 36 in height 3.

To sew this blouse, choose medium-weight, soft, non-stretch or low-stretch, opaque dress-weight fabrics made of natural, artificial, blended, or synthetic fibers.

The following fabrics are recommended: dress-weight viscose, cotton, natural or artificial silk.

The blouse in the photo is made of viscose satin. The fabric is medium-weight, soft, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 100% viscose. The fabric weight is 120 g/m².

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required. 

2. Lightweight interfacing, knit or woven, 140 cm (55") wide, for all sizes in all heights — 0.7 m (3/4 yd). 
3. Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 1.5 cm (5/8") wide — 1.5 m (1 5/8 yd). 

4. Four button blanks (+1–2 spare ones), 1.1 cm (just over 3/8”) in diameter.

5. Matching thread — 4 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 3 spools for the overlocker).
