Siobhan Blouse
Siobhan is a loose-fitting blouse with a straight silhouette. It features a notched turn-down collar, and long, set-in, drop-shoulder sleeves. The blouse fastens with buttons and buttonholes at the center front. Siobhan is below-hip length.
Approximate sewing time – 1 day (8 hours).
Model Veronica: Height 168 cm (5’6”), Bust 82 cm (32 1/4”), Waist 60 cm (23 5/8”), Hips 89 cm (35”). Veronica is wearing size 36 in height 2.
To sew this blouse, choose blouse and dress-weight fabrics with the following properties:
- lightweight, fluid, soft, non-stretch or with very little stretch, semi-sheer or opaque
- the fiber content can include natural fibers (silk, cotton, linen), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (viscose + silk, viscose + polyester, cotton + viscose, etc.), and synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane)
- the following fabrics are recommended: natural silk, artificial silk, dress-weight viscose, cupro.
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics.
The blouse in the photo is made of natural silk. The fabric is lightweight, fluid, soft and non-stretch. The fiber content is 100% silk. The weight of the lining fabric is 100 g/m2.

3. Four buttons, 0.7–1 cm (1/4–3/8") in diameter
4. Matching thread — 4 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 3 spools for the overlocker)
- sewing machine for construction
- overlocker for finishing raw edges. This may be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2–3 mm, stitch length 2.5 mm)
- buttonhole foot for the sewing machine
- stitch-in-the-ditch foot for the sewing machine (optional)
