Annette skirt
Annette is a semi-fitted skirt with a straight silhouette. The skirt has no waistband and the waist is finished with a facing. The front features waist darts and a centre seam. The back features waist darts, center seam with an invisible zipper and a neatly finished slit. There are belt loops positioned along the front and back waistline. The skirt has a free-hanging lining and is midi length.
Model Emilia. Height 173 cm (5’8”), bust 83 cm (32 5/8”), waist 65 cm (25 5/8”), hips 90 cm (35 3/8”). Emilia is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time – 1 day (8 hours).
To sew this skirt, choose suiting fabrics with the following properties:
medium weight, easily pressed and steamed, non-stretch or with very little stretch, opaque;
- the fiber content can include natural fibers (wool, silk, cotton, linen), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (wool + silk, wool + polyester, cotton + viscose, etc.), and synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane);
The following fabrics are recommended: dress-weight wool, medium to heavy weight cotton, denim, faux leather, faux suede.
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy or lightweight fabrics.
For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial fibers (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).
The skirt in the photo is made of wool suiting. The fabric is medium weight, pliable, and has very little stretch. The fiber content is a blend of wool and elastane. The fabric weight is 390 g/m2.
The lining is 100% viscose. The weight of the lining fabric is 100 g/m2.
