Janelle skirt
Janelle is a voluminous A-line skirt flared towards the bottom due to godet inserts. The skirt has no waistband and sits below the natural waistline. The top edge is finished with a facing. Janelle closes with an invisible zipper in the left side seam and is above-ankle length.
Model Eva: Height 173 cm (5'8"), Bust 84 cm (33 1/8”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8”), Hips 89 cm (35”). Eva is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 1 day (8 hours).
To sew this skirt, choose dress-weight or suiting fabrics with the following properties: medium-weight, structured, non-stretch, opaque, made of natural, artificial, synthetic fibers, or blends.
Recommended fabrics: shirting, cady, suiting, brocade, taffeta, satin.
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics or lightweight sheer fabrics (such as chiffon, organza, or stretch lace).
The skirt in the photo is made of taffeta. The fabric is medium-weight, structured, soft, and without stretch.
The fiber content is 100% natural silk. Fabric weight is 110 g/m².

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.
2. Lightweight interfacing, knit or woven, 140 cm wide, 30 g/m², for all sizes and heights — 0.1 m (4").
3. Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 1.5 cm (5/8") wide — 1.1–1.5 m (1 1/4–1 5/8 yd).
4. One invisible zipper, 25 cm (9 7/8") long, for all sizes and heights.
5. Matching thread — 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker).
