Sibel skirt
Sibel is a semi-fitted wrap skirt with a straight silhouette. The top edge is finished with a facing. The skirt has an asymmetrical closure with two snaps. Sibel is below-knee length.
Model Tatiana: Height 172 cm (5’8”), Bust 85 cm (33 1/2”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8”), Hips 88 cm (34 5/8”). Tatiana is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 1 day (8 hours).
To sew this skirt, choose medium-weight, non-stretch or low-stretch suiting and dress-weight fabrics made of natural, artificial, blended, or synthetic fibers.
The following fabrics are recommended: twill, gabardine, suiting.
Attention! We do not recommend stretchy knit fabrics.
The skirt in the photo is made of double-sided wool suiting. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 100% wool. The fabric weight is 200 g/m².

IMPORTANT! When purchasing fabric, please account for shrinkage and buy 5% more than required.
2. Lightweight interfacing, knit or woven, 140 cm (55”) wide, for all sizes in all heights — 15 cm (6")
3. Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 1–1.5 cm (3/8–5/8") wide — 1.5 m (1 5/8 yd)
4. Two plastic snaps, 1.2–1.5 cm (1/2–5/8") in diameter
5. Matching thread — 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker)

- overlocker for finishing raw edges This may be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2–3 mm, stitch length 2.5 mm)
